Benjamin B. Bowman
Benjamin is the founder of Trifecta Media, who leads a team of journalists, contributors students to deliver narratives that drive measurable impact. He is a communications strategist whose work focuses on the intersection of organizational performance, public trust and institutional innovation.
Before founding Trifecta, Benjamin led high-performing global teams for Fortune 500 giants, including Honeywell, Delta Air Lines and Wells Fargo. Whether stabilizing organizations through disruption, preparing leaders for congressional testimony, or developing plans to secure national media coverage, Benjamin has consistently used his skills as a vital stabilizer for public trust and leadership legitimacy.
Often referred to as the "social conscience" of the room, Benjamin is dedicated to reducing income inequality and improving education through strategic partnerships and Career and Technical Education (CTE).
This commitment led him to found Empower Kids, a nonprofit that expands youth opportunities through top-ranked, CTE-aligned pathways.
Benjamin's strategic approach is rooted in an early career in journalism, where he reported on landmark national events—including presidential elections and the Flint Water Crisis—to highlight communities often overlooked in policy and media.
Benjamin earned an executive MBA from The University of Notre Dame, a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University.

Charles Flowers
Charles Flowers is a Trifecta contributor and an Assistant Professor at California State University, Fullerton.
His research examines how culturally relevant teaching practices support the learning and identity development of minoritized children within early STEM and computing environments.
Charles’s professional journey is rooted in the belief that educational equity requires centering the voices of teachers, parents, and students. Charles' extensive fieldwork involves conducting comprehensive case studies on the implementation of culturally responsive computer science programs to ensure technology education is both inclusive and accessible.
At Trifecta Media, Charles leverages his academic rigor and expertise in the learning sciences to shape narratives around educational reform and workforce readiness. Driven by a commitment to community impact, he also serves on the Board of Directors for Empower Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding youth opportunities through top-ranked, CTE-aligned pathways.
Charles earned his Ph.D from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University.

At Trifecta, Brandon leverages his extensive experience in state and federal administration to challenge conventional narratives and foster critical dialogue around institutional accountability and civic engagement.
A seasoned voice in conservative media, Brandon’s career spans high-level roles on Capitol Hill and within state government. He was appointed by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as Director of Education and African-American Affairs, where he led urban development and early childhood initiatives. More recently, he was appointed by Delaware Governor John Carney to the State Magistrate Screening Process. His federal foundation was built on Capitol Hill serving under former U.S. Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert, where he gained first-hand experience in legislative operations and federal strategy.
Brandon is often sought after for his sharp analysis, Brandon is a regular guest on major outlets including MSNBC, Fox News, Newsmax, and NPR. He has also served as an op-ed columnist for The Detroit News, Washington Times, and Ebony. Driven by a commitment to community impact, Brandon has held influential fellowships with the Heritage Foundation and the United Nations Foundation, and currently serves on the boards of the Caesar Rodney Institute and Great Oaks Charter School.
Brandon earned a master’s in Global Affairs from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s in business from Howard University.

A pioneer in Mississippi leadership, Nic made history as the first African-American student body president at the University of Mississippi.
Nic has served in high-level roles across several administrations, including as a senior advisor for communications and public safety for the Mississippi Department of Corrections and as an administrator for the Office of Justice Programs. Nic's federal experience includes work with Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott and U.S. Congressman J.C. Watts, as well as an internship in the White House during the George W. Bush administration.
Often sought after for his political and social commentary, Nic is a regular guest on major outlets such as CNN and Fox News. He currently serves on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights State Advisory Committee and the Board of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
